The aim of this course is to provide participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to prevent fires within a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) environment. Through a combination of theoretical and practical training, candidates will learn how to make an appropriate initial judgement when evaluating a fire. The programme also covers how to manage the safe evacuation of personnel in the event of an unmanageable fire, and how to efficiently extinguish an initial fire using basic handheld firefighting equipment if it is judged safe to do so.
