This 4-day, fully accredited refresher programme reviews the four core elements of wind turbine safety:

  • First Aid (0.5 day)
  • Working at Height (1 day)
  • Manual Handling (0.5 day)

Course Objectives

  • Demonstrate the correct inspection, fitting, and deployment of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall arrest systems at height.

  • Apply proper kinetic lifting and moving techniques to minimise the risk of musculoskeletal injuries during daily operations.

  • Demonstrate current best practices in administering immediate, lifesaving first aid care within a wind turbine generator environment.

  • Reconfirm effective fire hazard evaluation methods and the safe operation of basic handheld firefighting equipment.
