Course Objectives

  • Demonstrate the correct inspection, fitting, and deployment of basic personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall arrest systems.

  • Apply proper kinetic lifting and moving techniques to minimise the risk of musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace.

  • Recognise life-threatening situations and administer safe, immediate first aid care within a wind turbine generator environment.

  • Evaluate fire hazards effectively and safely operate basic handheld firefighting equipment to extinguish initial fires.

  • Demonstrate safe vessel-to-turbine transit protocols, sea survival techniques, and the correct use of personal survival equipment during offshore operations.
