Course Objectives

  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider.

  • Formulate a rapid and safe assessment of an emergency situation in the workplace.

  • Administer immediate first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally.

  • Deliver effective CPR and safely utilise an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

  • Provide appropriate first aid care for choking, external bleeding, shock, and minor injuries.
